Background
Professional background and education
Before his admission to The Florida Bar, Jose worked for roughly a decade as a paralegal on probate and litigation matters. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Florida International University in 2009 and attended Florida International University College of Law, class of 2013. As a third-year law student, before his admission to the Bar, he served as a judicial intern in the Probate Division of Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, working with the Honorable Maria M. Korvick.
His work at Lorenzo Law brings together planning for the future, administering estates and trusts, and representing clients when disagreements require legal action. These matters often involve overlapping concerns: a family may need help planning for property, carrying out responsibilities after a death, or addressing a disagreement about an estate, trust or deed. The appropriate representation depends on the client’s role, the documents and the issue involved.
